			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The American student visa, officially known as the F-1 academic visa, is the visa required when a person of the relevant age is interested in studying at a university or any other academic establishment in the United States. The F-1 requires that the holder agrees to work for a minimum of 20 hours a week during their university term period. In addition to this, they will also be required to work full-time during the holidays. When they have finished their course, the holder must leave the country within 60 days. However, within that period of time they have a chance to apply for work relevant to the course they have just completed, for example to take practical training or to apply for an H-1b visa. They can then try to apply for an Eb-3 visa.</p>
<p><script type="text/javascript">
var uri = 'http://impgb.tradedoubler.com/imp?type(js)g(970420)a(1737490)' + new String (Math.random()).substring (2, 11);
document.write('<sc'+'ript type="text/javascript" src="'+uri+'" charset=""></sc'+'ript>');
</script></p>
<p>In order to apply for an American student visa, the applicant must have received a letter offering them a place in an institution or university in the USA. They must also present proof that all fees have been paid to the chosen educational institution, a process that can take up to 90 days to complete.</p>
<p>There are also other options available, related to the <a title="US Student Visas" href="http://www.usembassy.org.uk/cons_new/visa/niv/students.html">American student visa</a>, which interested applicants may wish to consider. The J-1 exchange visitor visa is designed for people involved in prearranged work, training or research. Another alternative is not dependent on educational requirements, but is aimed at anyone looking to attend non-academic training courses.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There is no doubt that many people would like to live in Canada. As one of the first world nations, the country&rsquo;s economic growth is rapid, the job market is enormous and the beauty of the country and cities like Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary or Quebec is stunning.</p>
<p>Moving to Canada means working through the procedures laid down by the <a title="Canadian Immigration Office" href="http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/index.asp">Canadian Immigration Office</a>.</p>
<p>The office, which is located in Quebec, can assist immigrants in processing their applications to move to Canada. It operates closely with its clients and customers and all files are properly evaluated before being sent to Immigration Canada. All the assistance you may require is provided by Canadian Immigration, from the filing of an application to giving advice on the various immigration categories, such as employment or student visas.</p>
<p>A questionnaire is given to evaluate applicants before the actual processing process begins. For skilled workers, factors such as education, language, work experience, age, arranged employment and adaptability are considered. Students must have study permits or <a title="Temporary Resident Visas" href="http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/study.asp">Temporary Resident Visas</a>. If business is the purpose of the immigration, the applicant must apply as an investor, entrepreneur or self-employed and each category has specific requirements.</p>
<p>It is the duty of the Canadian Immigration Office to check all of these factors to ensure a safe and fulfilling Canadian immigration process.</p>
<p>Other services of the Canadian Immigration Office include assistance in providing support documentation, the completion of government forms, legal assistance, monitoring of the application process and suggesting solutions to possible problems that applicants may encounter with the Canadian government. Applicants will only be charged for professional services, consultations and mail correspondence.</p>
<p>The professional consultants at the Canadian Immigration Office have one goal in mind, to give you the best service.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Point Based System &ndash; PBS &ndash; introduced by the UK in late February seeks to streamline the visa application process and render it more efficient. The student visa entry route is one area where the PBS is likely to have a big impact and far reaching implications.</p>
<p>Before the introduction of the PBS system, UK student visas were filled with loopholes. These loopholes exposed the system to abuse. </p>
<p>The introduction of the PBS placed more responsibility in the hands of educational institutes. The educational institutes work hand in hand with the Home Office to ensure students entering United Kingdom meet PBS requirements and adhere to the rules.</p>
<p>The rules include the provision of a certificate of sponsorship to all students coming to the UK. The certificates are issued by the educational institution which students will be joining. PBS rules require the educational institute issuing the certificate of sponsorship to vouch for the student&rsquo;s ability.</p>
<p>The tier 4 student visa takes into consideration the time required to complete the study course and graduate after successfully completing the course. </p>
<p>A student holding a tier 4 visa can change courses within the same education institute without submitting another application. However should the student wish to transfer from the sponsoring institution &ndash; change the sponsor &ndash; he/she must lodge a new application. The same applies if a student wants to extend the visa duration.</p>
<p>Under the PBS, tier 4 visa holders cannot apply for permanent residency and are only allowed limited working opportunities. Dependants of tier 4 visa holders are afforded entry into the United Kingdom with either tier 3 or tier 5 visas which are also temporarily visas.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Studying in Canada is one of the greatest opportunities provided to international students who wish to obtain a good education and work experience. As a result, over a hundred and thirty thousand students apply every year for Canada Study Permits to have a share in that great opportunity. Also in addition to the one hundred and thirty thousand students, some others apply for visas to get an opportunity to learn English and French in Canada.</p>
<p>One of the advantages of a <a title="Canada Study Visa" href="http://www.globalvisas.com/canada_visas/canada_study_visa.html">Canadian study permit</a> is that it allows students to broaden their horizons, and they also benefit greatly while they are in the country. For cases such as short term study, for phases of less than six months, study permits are not needed. But possessing one will allow you to extend your time in Canada if you wish to advance in your studies. Otherwise, without the permit, you would have to go back home and apply for a new one.</p>
<p>These study visas are not considered work visas, but they do allow students to work part time on the campus of the school institutions they are enrolled in. In some areas in Canada, one may be allowed to work off university grounds, but you will require a <a title="Canada Work Permit" href="http://www.globalvisas.com/canada_visas/canada_work_permit.html">work permit</a>.</p>
<p>Students should submit their applications immediately upon receiving their acceptance letters from their chosen institutions. In order to be eligible for a study permit, one has to have an acceptance letter from the school that one will attend, adequate funds for payment of tuition fees and general upkeep, must demonstrate one&rsquo;s intentions of moving back home as soon as the studies are over. You must pass a health check and may be required to have a temporary resident visa.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Those who want to become UK citizens need to follow a specific path towards that goal.  The first step in the UK citizenship process is to legally enter the UK.  This requires a visa or work permit to allow you to live and work in the UK.  Temporary visitors who are in the UK as tourists for less than 3 months do not generally need to get a visa.  There are various types of visas available in the UK.  The new system uses tiers and a point system to properly categorise applicants.  There are 6 tier visa levels ranging from the highly skilled worker (Tier 1) to the temporary <a title="UK Student Visa" href="http://www.globalvisas.com/uk_immigration/student_visa.html">student visa </a>(Tier 6).  The point system is used to determine eligibility for a visa.  Those wishing to live and work in the UK need to apply for a Tier 1 Visa.<br />
 <br />
The categories that are used to give points include the applicant&#8217;s age, education, salary and UK experience along with English skills, knowledge of the UK, and ability to support yourself.  The <a title="UK Tier 1 Visa" href="http://www.globalvisas.com/uk_immigration/tier_1_visas.html">Tier 1 Visa</a> is a stepping-stone towards getting UK citizenship.  Once an applicant has a Tier 1 Visa he or she is allowed to reside and work in the UK.  The visa is typically good for a period of two years after which time it can be renewed.  After spending 5 years as a working resident the visa holder can opt to apply for UK citizenship and must take a mandatory test.  The test ensures that the applicant knows and understands sufficiently about the life, customs, and history of the UK.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The UK Tier 1 visa is a part of the governments new points based system for immigration and replaces the old Highly Skilled Migrant Programme (HSMP) visa. The new <a title="UK Tier 1 Visa" href="http://www.globalvisas.com/uk_immigration/tier_1_visas.html">Tier 1 visa</a> covers four sub-categories; entrepreneurs, investors, highly skilled migrants and foreign graduates of UK colleges and universities.</p>
<p>Under the new system, migrants wishing to come to the UK no longer need a job offer or spouse and are able to apply for work anywhere in the UK. The applicant must first pass the points based system to qualify for a Tier 1 visa, with a score of at least 75 points. Successful applicants can stay and work in the UK for three years; after this time a migrant can apply to renew their Tier 1 visa.</p>
<p>There are four sub-categories to the UK Tier 1 visa, these are:</p>
<p>Highly Skilled Migrant visa – This is now known as a <a title="Tier 1 General Visa" href="http://www.globalvisas.com/uk_immigration/tier_1_visa___general.html">Tier 1 General visa</a> and is designed for highly skilled and educated migrants. The applicant must score a minimum of 75 points to qualify for a Tier 1 General visa. Points will be awarded for their age, qualifications, previous earnings and UK experience.</p>
<p>Entrepreneur visa – This visa is for individuals who want to invest in the UK by starting or taking over a business. To qualify for a <a title="Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa" href="http://www.globalvisas.com/uk_immigration/tier_1_visa___entrepreneur.html">Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa</a>, at least £200,000 of disposable capital is required.</p>
<p>Investor visa – Is for people who plan to make a more significant investment can apply for a <a title="UK Investor Visa" href="http://www.globalvisas.com/uk_immigration/tier_1_visa___investor.html">Tier1 Investor visa</a>. This visa is designed for very well-off individuals and requires at least £1,000,000 of disposable capital.</p>
<p>Foreign Graduate visa – This is known as a Tier 1 Post Study Work visa and is for students who have studied and graduated in universities within the UK. It allows successful applicants to look for work after they have graduated, without having a sponsor.</p>
<p>The Tier 1 <a title="UK Student Visa" href="http://www.globalvisas.com/uk_immigration/tier_1_visa___post_study_work.html">Post Study Work visa</a> is only designed to bridge the gap to a Highly Skilled or skilled worker visa. It is expected that students with a Post Study Work visa will switch to another Tier 1 or other Tier visa as soon as they can.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>If you are planning to study in the United Kingdom, then you will need a UK student visa. Getting a UK student visa is a multi-step process. However, it should not be difficult to obtain one, as long as you have the requirements and documents ready.</p>
<p>Individuals who wish to study in the UK should provide documents that show that they have already been accepted by a learning institution the United Kingdom. The course must be on a full-time basis in that academic institution. This means 15 hours a week spent in studying. Another point that you should keep in mind is that you must be able to prove that you can cover the cost of your studies as well as the cost of living without having to work. As long as you meet these conditions, then there should be no problem in getting a UK student visa.</p>
<p>Those who are on a UK student visa are allowed to work during term time for up to 20 hours a week, and 40 hours a week during the holidays. At the same time, there are usually no restrictions on a spouse and children working in the country as long as the student studies in the country for more than a year.</p>
<p>Another important thing to remember is that the student visa applicant must be able to prove to the immigration and visa officers that they will return home at the end of the course. If you are a citizen of a visa-national country, meaning you need a visa to enter the UK even as a tourist, then you must apply for the UK student visa at your local British Embassy or Consulate.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Education plays an important role in your life. When choosing a school that you think will provide you the best quality education, you may consider studying abroad. Among the most sought after student visas are those of the US and UK. Most of the top universities in the world can be found in these two countries. The likes of Harvard, Oxford, Dartmouth, Yale, and Brown are just a few of the best universities that you will find in the US and UK.</p>
<p>Once you have found your chosen school and you are accepted, all you need to do is file some paper work. You will need to submit certain documents to get a student visa from either UK or the US. As long as you complete and submit the requirements for the student visa, there is no reason for you not to be approved.</p>
<p>When applying for a student visa in the US, you must have the SEVIS or the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System document. The US academic institution that has already admitted or accepted you provides this document. Only when you have the document are you allowed to apply for a student visa. You will also need to pay the SEVIS fee, the visa processing fee, and schedule an appointment or interview with the US embassy or consulate in your country.</p>
<p>When applying for a student visa in the UK, you must ensure that you have been accepted in an academic institution that is part of the Register of Education and Training Providers. Once you get accepted, the academic institution will give you a list of the steps you must take to obtain a UK student visa.</p>
