Do You Know about Researcher Visas across Europe?
Most countries in Europe provide a separate type of visa for researchers. This includes scientific research and similar types of work. Researcher Visas are the fastest option to enter most of the countries in Europe for people who need to do scientific researches. There are only a few requirements that you must meet in order to obtain one.
If you need to get into a European country as fast as possible and if the purpose of your travel is related to research, then you simply need to prepare a number of documents. First, make sure that an accredited research organization certifies the validity of your research project. They must certify and acknowledge your research and your skills. They must certify that you have the necessary skills and the resources needed for that project. More importantly, as a researcher, you must have health insurance before travelling.
In recent news, there is a directive that the European Union member states and nations should allow researchers to submit the application from within the country rather than going back to their country of origin. Note that issuing a residence permit to a researcher will imply that they have the right to work even if they do not go through the labour market assessment. This directive has been implemented by only five member states, namely, Belgium, Germany, Hungary, Portugal, and Romania. These are the only countries who have officially notified the European Union Commission that they are fully executing the directive. It is yet to become a national law but the European Union has set a deadline for October 2007.
