Of course, a valid South Africa visa is one of the requirements that you need to enter the country. Below are the requirements in applying for a South Africa Visa.

The requirements that you need to submit when applying for a South Africa visa includes a valid passport with at least one unused page, payment fees and vaccination certificate as required by South Africa’s Act. You will also need a statement or documentation showing the purpose and duration of the visit, two ID photographs, and proof of financial means like bank statements, pay slips or evidence of salary, bursaries, medical cover, as well as cash, credit cards, and travellers’ cheques.

If you are travelling by air, you must have a return or onward ticket, proof of sufficient funds or cash deposit of equal value to a ticket. Note that when submitting an application for a visa, you do not have to submit it in person. Note that the Minister of Home Affairs has suspended the requirement for a transit visa.

When applying for a South African visa, you will need to submit your application at the South African Embassy or Consulate in your country of residence or where you hold a valid passport. You cannot apply at the ports of entry.
