			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>“The land down under” as it is affectionately called Australia is both a land of excitement and opportunity. Immigration Australia has adopted policies that may seem complicated, but it provides several avenues for the potential immigrant to move to the country and enjoy the opportunities it has to offer. Does swimming on the Great Barrier Reef or surfing on Bondi Beach sound like fun or how about seeing the great monolith of Ayer’s Rock change colour in the most mystical fashion? Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane are among the world’s most bustling cities, filled with culture and energy. So what are you waiting for? The Australian visa is within your reach.</p>
<p>You begin the <a title="Australian Immigration Process" href="http://www.immi.gov.au/immigration/">Australian immigration process</a> by applying offshore, which is to say in your current country of residence and it is only completed successfully when you have moved to Australia. Skilled workers are needed to support the dynamic workforce and industry and in order to be able to work in Australia involves obtaining a skilled class of visa. These include the Skilled Independent Regional Visa, Skilled Independent Visa, Skilled Sponsored Visa and the Employer Nomination Scheme.</p>
<p>var uri = &#8216;http://impgb.tradedoubler.com/imp?type(img)g(18156570)a(1737490)&#8217; + new String (Math.random()).substring (2, 11);<br />

<p>Family-based visas are also available, such as the Contributory Parent visa or the Last Remaining Relative Visa. Your spouse or unmarried partner can join you in the country by obtaining a Spouse Visa, De Facto Visa or Prospective Marriage Visa.</p>
<p>Australia is divided into several states or territories and State/Territory Nominated Independent Visas are available for anyone with business or investment concerns. Other business-related visas include the Investor Visa, Business Owner Visa, Business Talent Visa and Senior Executive Visa.</p>

<p>The H1B or Specialty Occupation Visa is aimed at skilled workers. It grants a minimum of three years of residency, which can be extended twice, up to a maximum of three more years. To qualify for the <a title="US H1-B visa" href="http://www.usembassy.org.uk/cons_new/visa/niv/work.html">H1B visa</a>, you need to be a graduate of a job-relevant course and have at least three years of relevant work experience. If the educational qualification is not relevant to the target job, at least twelve years of related work experience will suffice.</p>
<p>L1 or Intra-Company Transfer Visas are intended for foreign nationals who must work in the USA on the instructions of their employer. This type of visa is designed for those who are relocating to the US subsidiary or branch of their employer.</p>
<p>E Treaty Trader or Treaty Investor Visas are intended for the employees of accredited Treaty Traders or Treaty Investors. E visas are valid for only two years, but can be renewed indefinitely.</p>
<p>Employment-based green cards come in three types. EB1 is for managers and experts in the fields of science, arts, business, education and sports. EB2 is given to foreign nationals who have earned notable achievements in their respective fields. EB3 is for professionals who are sponsored by US employers to work in the country. This type of visa imposes a minimum level of work experience and educational qualification, as does the work visa.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Large numbers of people from many countries are applying for immigration visas to Canada. As a matter of fact, the United Nations Human Development Index has recognised the country as having one of the highest standards of living in the world. It is a land teeming with amazing opportunities and has a rich and diverse culture. As a result, Canada offers a wide range of visas for a number of purposes.</p>
<p>There is a diverse set of options to choose from for anyone wishing to permanently work and settle in Canada. After satisfactorily complying with the three-year residency requirement, the Immigration service or Citizenship and Immigration in Canada (CIC), will review your eligibility for permanent status in the country.</p>
<p>One very effective way of obtaining a Canadian visa is by applying for a <a title="Federal Skilled Worker Visa" href="http://www.globalvisas.com/canada_visas/federal_skilled_worker_visa.html">Federal Skilled Worker Class Visa</a>. </p>
<p>var uri = &#8216;http://impgb.tradedoubler.com/imp?type(img)g(17098036)a(1737490)&#8217; + new String (Math.random()).substring (2, 11);<br />
document.write(&#8216;<a href="http://clkuk.tradedoubler.com/click?p=21874&amp;a=1737490&amp;g=17098036" target="_BLANK"><img src="'+uri+'" border="0"></a>&#8216;);</p>
<p>This is how the country entices foreigners who have the relevant business acumen and technical skills to help make Canada a more progressive and technologically advanced country. This type of work visa is issued based on a points system and many factors are involved before a person can be qualified to apply for one, including age, work experience, educational background, English competency and even the coping mechanism of the individual to settle in a foreign country.</p>
<p>Once a Skilled Worker Visa, has been obtained the holder will be issued with permanent resident status. In this way, the candidate will enjoy equal rights to those of a Canadian citizen. The only difference is that they will not be allowed to vote. However, it will give them the freedom to choose where in the country to work.</p>
<p>Another option for prospective immigrants is the Immigrant Investor Programme. A minimum investment of $400,000 (CDN) is mandatory and investors must show that they have successfully managed an enterprise and have accumulated a substantial level of assets, not less than $800,000 (CDN).</p>
<p>Existing permanent Canadian residents or citizens can sponsor their foreign relatives, using the <a title="Canada Family Class Visa" href="http://www.globalvisas.com/canada_visas/canada_family_class_visa.html">Canadian Family Visa</a>. They need to confirm that they agree to support their benefactors for a specified period of time, usually between three and ten years, until such time that their relatives are able to support themselves financially. This is an easy way for foreigners to obtain permanent residency in Canada, because they will not have to go through the points system.</p>
<p>Canadian Student Visas are given to anyone intending to pursue their education in the country. Applicants must show proof that an approved Canadian educational institution will accept them. In this way, students can work part-time and their visas will be renewed if they wish to further their studies. However, if they will be in the country for less than six months, then a Canadian Study Visa is not necessary.</p>
<p>Holders of Tourist Visas can only stay in Canada for a maximum of six months and it is strictly forbidden for them to seek employment in the country.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Canadian immigration department uses a &lsquo;per category&rsquo; scoring system when processing applications from people who want to move to the country.</p>
<p>Skilled workers and professionals are provided with various options when planning to immigrate to Canada and foreign nationals can apply for permanent or temporary visas. All categories have corresponding points, which determine whether the individual applicant achieves the required score, based on a set of criteria.</p>
<p>Online visa assessments are available on a number of websites, so it is quite a simple matter to check if you are likely to have your application accepted. Around 250,000 Canadian visas are offered to experienced workers, most of whom are also offered permanent residency. </p>
<p>var uri = &#8216;http://impgb.tradedoubler.com/imp?type(js)g(17974084)a(1737490)&#8217; + new String (Math.random()).substring (2, 11);<br />
document.write(&#8221;);</p>
<p>The <a title="Canadian Skilled Worker Visa" href="http://www.visabureau.com/canada/skilled-worker-visa.aspx">Skilled Worker Class</a> category includes permanent residency and this can be applied for personally or through the provincial nominee programme.</p>
<p>Investors are usually given Canada business class visa options and this can be issued to either a self-employed person or the owner of a corporation.</p>
<p>Sponsorship is also allowed and this takes the form of a family class Canadian visa. This application is usually initiated by a Canadian national or permanent resident on behalf of a foreign relative. Medical and security checks are required before such applications are granted.</p>
<p>A Canadian work experience student or graduate from a Canadian college gives an individual the chance to secure a Canadian experience class visa, which can later be converted to permanent residency. Canada is particularly looking to attract immigrants with good credentials and strong backgrounds in English and French languages.</p>
<p>Investors, businessmen and self-employed workers can also apply for visas. Skilled employees who wish to immigrate to Canada using the Provincial Nominee Programme Visa should have the skills, background and work experience necessary to contribute to the economic progress of the country.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Tier 2 replaced the old Work Permit scheme in November 2008, but Work Permit holders are allowed to switch to a <a title="Tier 2 Visas for the UK" href="http://www.globalvisas.com/uk_immigration/tier_2_visas.html">Tier 2 visa</a> in order to extend their residency. Skilled workers who are citizens of non-EU countries are required to obtain a Tier 2 visa in order to move to the UK. This type of visa also requires a minimum of 50 eligibility points.</p>
<p>There are four types of Tier 2 visa:<br />General visas allow foreign professionals to move to the country if a UK employer sponsors them. Overseas workers who move to the UK with a Tier 2 visa are usually in great demand and it&rsquo;s skill shortages in their specific areas of expertise that generally necessitates the approval of their visa.</p>
<p>var uri = &#8216;http://impgb.tradedoubler.com/imp?type(js)g(17071474)a(1737490)&#8217; + new String (Math.random()).substring (2, 11);<br />
document.write(&#8221;);</p>
<p>Intra Company Transfers are designed for foreign nationals who have to move to the UK due to employer-mandated job relocation. For General and <a title="Tier 2 Intra-Company Transfers" href="http://www.globalvisas.com/uk_immigration/tier_2_intra_company_transfers.html">Intra Company Transfer visas</a>, an S/NVQ level 3 or above is required, as specified in the relevant code of practice.</p>
<p>Sports People visas are for professional athletes and coaches whose employment is deemed a crucial factor in the development of their sport.</p>
<p>Ministers of Religion, as its name implies, is a type of work visa intended for preachers or ministers of religion, missionaries and other members of church polity.</p>
<p>The Tier 2 visa does not grant temporary residency, but it can lead to Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR), popularly known as permanent UK residency.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>What is a work permit? </p>
<p>This is a type of Canadian visa that allows an alien to temporarily work in the country. A work permit is not intended to be seen as a stepping-stone to allowing the permanent residency of an alien worker; rather it serves as a means of helping Canadian employers deal with a labour shortage.</p>
<p>What are the benefits of getting a work permit?</p>
<p>Aliens who hold a work permit may be allowed to bypass a point-based assessment. Skilled workers are normally required to meet a point threshold in order to obtain a visa to Canada, but work permits enable foreign workers to enter the Canadian job market under the sponsorship of a Canadian employer.</p>
<p>Are work permits transferable?</p>
<p>No, but aliens holding a work permit can apply for another immigration status during their stay.</p>
<p>Can a Canada visa holder migrate with his dependents?</p>
<p>A work visa allows marriage and spouse immigration; however, dependents are not allowed to work unless they themselves qualify for a work visa.</p>
<p>How can workers apply for a Canada visa?</p>
<p>You need to wait until the <a title="Human Resources and Skills Development Canada" href="http://www.hrsdc.gc.ca/eng/home.shtml">Human Resources and Skills Development Canada</a> (HRSDC) confirms the availability of job openings for foreigners. You may then request a Canadian visa from the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC). If you are planning to work in Quebec, you also need to obtain approval from the province&rsquo;s immigration authorities.</p>
<p>Under what circumstances can an alien work in Canada without a visa?</p>
<p>The following is the list of work permit exemptions: Expert witnesses and investigators, civil aviation inspectors, flight attendants, journalists and diplomats.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There are many people interested in <a title="Moving to Australia" href="http://www.globalvisas.com/australia_visas/move_to_australia.html">moving to Australia</a>. However, before being granted an Australian visa, as an immigrant, it is necessary to go through a process of assessment, during which it is decided if they can contribute to the country&rsquo;s economic growth. This is usually the case if they work under any legally recognised employer contract in the country.</p>
<p>There are different kinds of workers that the Australian government allows to stay permanently in the country. The first group includes what are known as &lsquo;Employer Sponsored Workers&rsquo;, who are sponsored and endorsed by an Australian or oversees employer.</p>
<p>&lsquo;Professionals and other Skilled Migrants&rsquo; covers people who have skills needed for specific occupations in Australia. They may not necessarily be endorsed by an employer, but nevertheless will be granted an Australian visa if they meet the requirements.</p>
<p>The country is in need of doctors and nurses, which is why, when an applicant is a registered doctor or nurse, the consul or immigration officer may issue an <a title="Australian Visas" href="http://www.globalvisas.com/australia_visas/australia_visa_quick_guide.html">Australian visa</a> immediately.</p>
<p>Though Australia is a relatively under populated continent, it still has several cities, apart from the most popular ones, such as Sydney and Brisbane. Therefore, the government encourages consuls to grant Australian visas to skilled migrants who wish to work outside these major urban areas.</p>
<p>Immigrants who are still unsure about their preferred profession or job, can make use of the Skill Matching Database. This process assists potential migrants in determining which will be suitable to their education and employment history.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Although most Australia visas have remained unaffected, in May 2009 a number of alterations were made to Australia’s 457-visa programme. This will change the immigration policy for skilled workers within the travel, clerical and agricultural industries. Although the changes appear to be only minor, they are certain to affect applicants who are using their experience in these fields to obtain a visa.</p>
<p>The Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, Senator Chris Evans, drew attention to sponsorship programmes and the need to create a balance between employing skilled migrant workers and Australian citizens. The changes have resulted in more strict regulations for sponsors who employ migrants. It is believed that the recent decline in the Australian economy has been the reason for the changes.</p>
<p>There is now concern that the continuing decrease in Australian employment opportunities will affect other sectors commonly open to skilled migrants. Currently people working in the medical profession are being sought to work in the less developed areas of the country, and this is seen as an industry that will be least affected by any changes.</p>
<p>It was recently reported by the Australian Bureau of Statistics that 60 percent of recent immigrants had come from Britain, with 5.5 million Australian citizens having been born overseas. With over 230,000 emigrating from the UK to Australia in 2008, there are now 1.2 million Britons permanently residing in Australia, with the majority between the ages of 15 and 34. This, of course, is good news for applicants from the UK and shows a distinct trend of UK citizens’ visa applications being approved.</p>

It is therefore no surprise that citizens from all over the world–including the United Kingdom–want to permanently settle in the North American country. There are three ways in which a person can apply for immigration to Canada.</span></span></p>

In order to be eligible for the programme, a worker must have at least one year’s experience in any occupation included in the General Occupations List created by the Canadian government. The worker must obtain a minimum of 67 points which are awarded based on the Selection Criteria set also by the Canadian government. The Criteria include age, language ability, personal adaptability, work experience (in years), education, and family in Canada.</span></span></p>

The programme is a way to attract successful business people to establish businesses or invest in Canada. It is also a way to gain access to the markets of foreign countries by ‘importing’ people who are knowledgeable with the said markets. In order to apply for this programme, a person must either be an investor, an entrepreneur, or self-employed. Also, a form called the Business Class Assessment Form must first be completed to be able to apply.</span></span></p>

The purpose of the programme is to help reunite families in Canada. To qualify for this programme, a person must be at least second degree relatives of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.</span></span></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Whether you’re travelling to Australia to take a vacation or you’re relocating there for good, you must first have a visa to enter the country. There are different kinds of <a title="Australian Visas" href="http://www.globalvisas.com/countries/australia_visas.html">Australian visas</a>, as well as different methods on how to apply for one.</p>
<p>When applying for a visa, you must choose a classification suited to your particular situation. For short durations, you can apply for a temporary visa, such as a tourist or working holiday visa. While on a temporary visa, you can also apply for a permanent one if you wish to stay longer or to migrate completely. Permanent visas include a skilled worker’s visa, student visa or family visa. For a skilled worker’s visa, you can either be sponsored by relatives living in the country, or by an Australian state or region.</p>
<p>As to the method of applying for one, you can <a title="Apply for a visa" href="http://www.globalvisas.com/">apply for a visa</a> in several ways. There’s the traditional walk-in application, where you go to the embassy yourself to apply for a visa. This is the easiest way to get a visa, as some temporary visas are released in a matter of hours. You can also send your application through the mail, though this takes more time than the walk-in application. You send your application via post, and the visa is also released to you through regular mail. Applications via mail should be sent to the Australian visa centres found in Australian consulates and embassies.</p>
<p>For tourists who plan to visit Australia through a travel agency, you can have the agency take care of the visa application process. This is better, as you are guaranteed that your Australian visa will be processed properly so you can enjoy a worry-free vacation.</p>
