South African citizens and permanent residency holders are permitted to apply for visas for their life partners via the ‘spousal visa’ for those who wish to reside in South Africa based on their relationship status. Those who have been married for less than five years can apply for a temporary residence before later applying for a permanent visa.
Upon receiving a permanent residence permit for a person who spouse or life partner is a residence or a South African citizen they can then apply for a spousal visa to enable them live, work and do business together in South Africa without restriction. Endorsement can be applied for the spouses or life partners wishing to take up employment or start their own business.
When you are called for an interview by the government, people are supposed to produce a financial and emotional support for the spouse or a long-term relationship statement to show the seriousness of the marriage or relationship because many people look for opportunities to live in other countries through false marriages.
One of the most recognised proofs for the existence of a relationship is the marriage certificate; this is required by the Department of Home Affairs to prove that the marriage is valid and so issue the spousal visa for the partner or spouse who wishes to be a South African resident.
The greatest advantage of holding a South Africa spousal visa is that when it comes to settle or set up a business, a person can go anywhere in South Africa to start a business or settle without anybody requiring further visa applications.
A South Africa spousal visa is not that hard to obtain; all you need for you to attain these visa is to have the proper documentation available in order to prove the spousal status and attain the visa.
